AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami (EPS) has strongly criticized the DMK government’s new public outreach programme, ‘Ungaludan Stalin’, branding it an election gimmick aimed at gathering people’s phone numbers for political use.
Speaking after inaugurating the AIADMK Salem Urban and District Office at Neduncahalai Nagar, EPS said, “The DMK has been in power for four years, and only now they are asking people about their problems. This proves their lack of concern so far.”
He pointed out that the pamphlets and forms shared during the campaign highlight unresolved civic issues, exposing the DMK’s governance failures.
EPS also responded sharply to Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin’s remarks about the AIADMK-BJP alliance, saying, “He is not an astrologer. Let him focus on the contradictions within his own alliance.”
